Chicago Bears great Gale Sayers earned his induction into the Hall of Fame for the time he spent with the Bears from 1965 to 1971. He was honored with a Hall of Fame entry in 1977.
This photo was taken in 2005 when he appeared on the game show "The Wheel of Fortune" long after his football career ended. They filmed a special "NFL" edition. No word on whether or not he bought a vowel, but he probably did.
