Harris Theater Overview:
The Harris Theater for Music and Dance emerged as part of the vision and planning for Chicago's Millennium Park.
The indoor performance center is located on the north end of Millennium Park. The theater was built underground as part of the civic requirement to keep the lakefront free and clear of buildings.
The non-profit theater, which can seat up to 1525, features primarily music and dance, but it also hosts other cultural performances.
