Play Ball, Chicago! Overview:
This annual celebration debuted last April as a collective civic welcome to the surest sign of spring: the the Cubs and White Sox season home openers. Fans of all stripes, including our area's minor league teams, are invited to join in the FREE festival.

- Teams Represented: Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Kane County Cougars, Windy City Thunderbolts, Joliet Jackhammers, and the Schaumburg Flyers.
- Admission is free. Activities include baseball inflatables, picture booth with photo scenes of Wrigley and U.S. Cellular Fields, batting cages, speed pitch, free giveaways, and more.
- The Picasso statue will wear a hybrid Cubs-Sox hat.
