11. Garfield Park Conservatory - Green and Growing Fair - Saturday, April 25

Green your thumb at the 17th annual family-friendly growing fair. It's free and runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

12. North Pond Nature Sanctuary - 9th Annual Earth Day Event - Saturday, April 25

The Lincoln Park Conservancy will celebrate Earth Day by planting wildflowers, caring for the park's trees, and restoring a nature trail. 9am to 11am.

13. Paper Recycling Drive - Saturday, April 25

St. Patrick's High School on the city's northwest side (5900 W. Belmont) will take your old newspaper and magazines from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot.
