For years visitors have reported stories and shared photographs of strange happenings and apparitions at the Hull-House Museum in Chicago. The landmark building, noted for being one of the few remaining structures from Nobel Peace Prize winner Jane Addams' legacy, is believed (by some) to be haunted.
This photo was taken by reader Katie Self during early June 2009 near a staircase where other ghost sightings have been reported. Self was startled to see the figure in the back door. A close-up of the figure follows in the next photo.
