Kimpton Hotels of Chicago Hosts Santa Paws at the Hotel Allegro This December

About Santa Paws:

For the fourth year in a row, Kimpton Hotels of Chicago will host Santa Paws, a weekend-long event at the Hotel Allegro where neighborhood pets and four-legged hotel companions are invited for holiday treats and photos with Santa done by a professional photographer. Santa Paws welcomes all pets as long as they can fit through the hotel's front door.

This year’s festivities will feature a raffle with prizes, including hotel and restaurant gift certificates. All raffle proceeds will benefit Chicago’s Anti-Cruelty Society. The Anti-Cruelty Society will also bring several shelter dogs to participate in the holiday event – all shelter dogs will be available for adoption.

When is Santa Paws:

Santa Paws will take place from 2 -4 p.m. on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9, 2012.

Where is Santa Paws:

Santa Paws will take place at the Hotel Allegro, located at 171 West Randolph Street. (Consider taking public transportation to the event. Read our Taking Public Transportation Guide for more information on Chicago's public transit.)

Admission to Santa Paws:

Admission to Santa Paws is free. Photos are complimentary, as are all the food and beverages served. Raffle tickets are $10. (For more holiday fun in Chicago: Christkindlmarket at Daley Plaza and Macy's Holiday Window Displays)

More About Santa Paws:

A professional photographer will be on hand to snap shots of furry friends with Santa in Hotel Allegro’s Living Room Lobby, which will be outfitted with festive décor, music, hot chocolate and cookies. (You can also bring your own camera or smart phone and snap away.) Water bowls and pet-friendly treats will also be provided. While dogs seem to delight in Santa Paws the most, Kimpton’s Santa Paws is open to all pets, as long as they can fit through the front door.
