It was impossible not to be proud of our city on the 2008 Election Night. This shot really gives you a sense of the scale of the skyline and the event.

On November 4, 2008, Chicago's Grant Park became the center of the world's focus and hope for one glorious night as Barack Obama clinched his bid to become President of the United States. He gave his victory speech in Grant Park to a hometown crowd of thousands and millions more around the world.
