President-Elect Barack Obama and Vice President-Elect Joe Biden greet the crowds after learning they had won their bid for the nation's highest offices. They were almost dwarfed by the exuberance that surrounded them.

On November 4, 2008, Chicago's Grant Park became the center of the world's focus and hope for one glorious night as Barack Obama clinched his bid to become President of the United States. He gave his victory speech in Grant Park to a hometown crowd of thousands and millions more around the world.
