The following reflects how the candidates for President and Vice President of the United States appeared on Illinois ballots in the November 4, 2008 General Election. The party they represented is indicated in parentheses following their names.

Each set of candidates was linked to their official campaign web site, but, please note, because the election is long over, many of these links might be dead. I am keeping this document up as part of the Illinois election archive. Barack Obama easily won his home state of Illinois and also won the election in 2008.
