While Chicago has long established itself as one of the most LGBT-friendly cities in the country, it's still fun to get all dressed up and celebrate pride every June. Find some of the city's top pride events here.

11. Center on Halsted Pride Celebration - Friday, June 26

12. Chicago Gay Mens' Chorus - Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27

The GCMC celebrates Pride month and the music of Judy Garland with performances of "Over the Rainbow" at Lakeshore Theater.

13. Dyke March - Saturday, June 27

The Dyke March will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Check listing for final location.

14. BackLot Bash - Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28

This 6th annual celebration and pride event will take place in Andersonville. Pride is not just for boys you know.

15. Pride Fest - Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27

Because before you have a parade, you have to have a fest. This one is centered at Halsted and Waveland Avenues.

16. Proud to Run - Saturday, June 27

This event celebrates 28 this year. It's a 5K and 10K run plus a 2 mile "fun walk" to celebrate Pride Weekend. The start and finish lines are in Lincoln Park near Montrose.

17. Pride Parade - Sunday, June 28
