Malia Obama, President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's oldest daughter, gets her chance to walk her new pup, Bo.

In his Election Night acceptance speech in Chicago's Grant Park, Barack Obama promised his daughters, Malia and Sasha, a new puppy when they moved to the White House.

On Easter Sunday 2009, he made good on that promise. He was a gift from Senator Ted Kennedy and his wife, Vicki. Bo is a Portuguese Water Dog. He was about six months old on the date of his becoming a gift.
