In an effort to register voters and build support for Senator Barack Obama's (D-IL) campaign for U.S. President, Bruce Springsteen performed in Philadelphia. More than 25,000 people converged at the Ben Franklin Parkway in this battleground state to see Springsteen on October 4, 2008.
