Barack Obama - First 100 Days in Office Photo Timeline

On Wednesday, January 22, 2009, the newly inaugurated President Barack Obama took the Oath of Office for a second time. During his swearing-in ceremony the day before, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Obama goofed on the exact words of the oath as specified in the U.S. Constitution.

To be sure no one questioned the authenticity of his inauguration, Obama took the Oath of Office a second time with Justice Roberts the following day. This photo was released later to the public.
