On Sunday, February 8, 2009, Chicago native Jennifer Hudson arrived on the red carpet at the 51st Grammy Awards where she would win her first Grammy for Best R & B Album. The award was presented by Whitney Houston. Hudson received it for her self-titled album. She later performed the song, "You Pulled Me Through."
