This is one of my favorite photos of Obama. Although this is well before he became one of the most photographed men in the world, it's still pretty surprising to see him behind the camera. You've got to think that it's reflective of his excitement for the Chicago White Sox and getting to throw out the first ball. After all, Obama lives on Chicago's south side.
Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) threw the ceremonial first pitch at US Cellular Field before the second White Sox game against the Los Angeles Angels in the ALCS playoffs. He made his toss on October 12, 2005. The White Sox won 2-1.
