Chicago almost bursts at the seams with Irish music, festivities, parades, and partying around St. Patrick's Day every year. Here are some of the month's key St. Patrick's Day events.

The Chieftains - Sunday, March 2

Six-time Grammy winners bring their traditional Irish music to Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Avenue.

Chicago Irish Film Festival - Friday, February 29 to Wednesday, March 5

The 9th annual festival of Irish film will take place at the Beverly Art Center, 2407 W. 111th Street, Chicago, IL.

If You're Irish - Saturday, March 8

Irish musical review at the Chicago Theatre will feature conductor Frank McNamara, a full orchestra, and Irish singers.

Chicago South Side Irish St. Patrick's Day Parade - Sunday, March 9
