When asked what she hoped visitors would not overlook when coming to the Modern Wing, security guard Corron Dotson didn't hesitate. "I hope they don't overlook the Cornell boxes. They're so beautiful and different and at the same time interesting."

Located on the third floor, the box collection by artist Joseph Cornell totals about 30. The fascinating display offers an eclectic exploration of constructed landscapes and boxed-in, re-imagined worlds.
