This was the moment that I didn't expect. I was found it so moving to see one famous icon of Chicago, the maquette for Picasso's sculpture in Daley Plaza, poised against the backdrop of the newly iconic Pritzker Pavilion.
Seeing these two greats together made me reflect on what it means to be in Chicago at this time, in this culturally ascendent moment. I feel fortunate to be part of it. I'm guessing you will, too.
