The Harold Washington Public Library, which is located at 400 South State Street in Chicago, is one of my least favorite buildings in the city. I find its exterior architecture overwrought, and the interior design does such a poor job of providing its users with an intuitive lay-out that I think it's almost inexcusable. This sign suggests what I'm talking about.
