Taste of Polonia - Overview:
Copernicus Center, the Chicago Polish cultural institute on the city's northwest side, hosts this four-day festival of all things Polish called Taste of Polonia. It features vendors, kielbasa, pierogi, loads of entertainment (yes, there's polka), and much more. It's infused with the Polish spirit, but also allows room for Thai food and local rock bands. Taste of Polonia is always held on Labor Day Weekend. In 2009 it will run from Friday, September 4 to Monday, September 7.Taste of Polonia Hours:
- Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- Saturday from noon to 11 p.m.
- Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.
- Monday from noon to 10 p.m.
