Smart Museum of Art Overview:
The David and Alfred Smart Museum of Art draws on its location in the heart of the University of Chicago campus to offer an interdisciplinary approach to presenting and exploring the visual arts. Many of their exhibits are accompanied by a broad spectrum of programming designed to enhance and promote the presented works.
The museum houses more than 10,000 objects from a span of more than 5,000 years.

- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Closed Mondays and Holidays.
- Note: Café and Museum Shop open daily.
