Overview of Fiesta del Sol:

The Pilsen Neighbors Community Council organizes Fiesta del Sol every year to help fund their efforts in the community. It is a family-friendly event that is alcohol and tobacco-free. Over one million people attend the four-day festival every year.

You'll find loads of carnival rides, freebies by corporations, vendors selling trinkets, and lots of Mexican food such as gorditas, flautas, and more.

When - Fiesta del Sol Hours:

Thursday, July 30 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday & Saturday, July 31, August 1 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday, August 2 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Fiesta del Sol Location:

The festival takes place along an industrial stretch of Cermak Road between Racine and Ashland.
