Ideas for your February 14th Luv Holiday

A heart of flowers welcomes visitors at the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

Cupid, draw back that bow and let your arrow go straight to these not particularly precious ways to enjoy Valentine's Day in Chicago. More events will be added as Valentine's Day approaches. This year the big day falls on a Saturday, so that's extra weekend love time for you.

In any weather, the view of the Chicago skyline from the lake is among the most beautiful in the city, and perhaps, the world. No joke.

  11. Skating at Millennium Park Ice Rink
If you're on a budget, this would be my first recommendation for you this Valentine's Day. It's free to skate if you bring your own skates, otherwise they're available in the rental shop for a $9 fee. The skate scene under the bean is romantic or fun or both, depending on what you need it to be.
