About the Chicago Air & Water Show 2013:

Considered to be the oldest and largest show of its kind in the country, Chicago's Air & Water Show attracts millions of spectators each year and features several high-flying acts, including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the Bill Stein Airshows Zivko Edge 540. The Air & Water show also features water-based performers including the Chicago Fire Department Air and Sea Rescue Team. (Note: As of press time, the Blue Angels, Army Golden Knights and the Air Force Thunderbirds are all being grounded because of the federal sequester (budget cuts) that took effect earlier this year. Air & Water Show officials plan to hold the event as planned, but they admit it might be a bit smaller this year.)
