About Chicago Restaurant Week 2014: If you are a foodie and are in Chicago this February, you're in for some good news. Chicago's annual Restaurant Week 2014 goes through February 6 with 286 restaurants offering special prix fix menus starting at about $22 for lunch and $33 and/or $44 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity). This is a great bargain considering that some of Chicago's top restaurants will be showcasing their best dishes and cocktails with three-course meals. Participating restaurants will offer lunch, dinner, or both at their discretion.
How to Participate in Chicago Restaurant Week 2014: Nothing is required for participation, but according to the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau, it is strongly recommended that diners make reservations in advance. To find which restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week, go the City of Chicago's website and use its Chicago Restaurant Week Finder which allows you to find participating restaurants by name, cuisine, location, and meals (lunch, dinner or both). You can also call the restaurants directly. All participating restaurants should provide diners with their special Restaurant Week Menu; if the menu is not provided upon seating, please request the special menu.
