As another winter storm is expected to be in Chicago tomorrow, Tuesday, February 26, Chicagoans are realizing winter is here to stay, at least for this week.
If you are looking for things to do to escape the cold, consider these ideas:
- Spend the afternoon at the Art Institute of Chicago and see the Picasso and Chicago exhibit that runs through May 12, 2013.
- Visit the Shedd Aquarium and view Waters of the World Exhibit that includes moon jellies, sea stars, mantella frogs, and more.
If you'd like to venture outside, grab some hot chocolate and ice skate at Chicago's Millennium Park, which has free ice skating ($10 for rentals) and impressive views of Chicago's skyline.
