Don't forget this afternoon is when Chicago's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at Daley Plaza.

The event starts at 4:30 p.m. with live music, including carolers from the play A Christmas Carol. And then at 5 p.m., the tree will be official lit.

Check out our Guide to the Chicago Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony for more information.

And tomorrow the city's annual Christkindlmarket will open and will include food, spiced wine, craft booth, roasted chestnuts, and more. The market takes place at Daley Plaza and offers a view of the city's Christmas tree.
