Things are certainly heating up in Chicago with temperatures nearing 100 degrees this week. With all that heat comes plenty of sunshine and lots of opportunities to celebrate July 4 in the Windy City.

Top events this Independence Day include:

  • Evening Fireworks at Navy Pier on July 4.
  • Special Fourth of July Concert at Millennium with Patriotic Tunes.
  • And More.

For more things to do this Independence Day, check out our Guide to the Fourth of July 2012 Events in Chicago. We also have a list of July 4 parades happening in the Chicagoland area.

Yup, 4th of July in Chicago is one of the best experience to have. There are plenty of things to do and events to attend for independence day celebration in Chicago.

Navy Pier fireworks is on top. As this year weather is very warm once can take one of available boat tours to experience the great fireworks from the water.
