The lights have been turned on at the Lincoln Park Zoo for the zoo's annual holiday ZooLights. Each year the zoo decorates its grounds and trees with mult-colored lights and animal figures. The lights turned on today and will go through January 2, 2011.
Attractions at ZooLights include a photo opportunity with Santa, ice carving demonstrations and a Holiday Express train.
ZooLights is free and is opened from 5 to 9 pm during the following dates: November 26 - 28; December 3 - 5; December 10 - 12; open nightly December 17 - January 2, 2011. Closed December 24 and 25.
