I've got to believe that this year's Bud Billiken Parade may be the sweetest yet.
The parade has spanned generations of African-American families to reach a most notable milestone of its 80th year running. But, even more thrilling is that there's a south side African-American in the White House, and he used to march in this very parade. Certainly sounds to me like great reasons for a celebration all over again.
