Buehrle Perfect Game Video Highlights
You've no doubt heard that the White Sox Mark Buehrle pitched a perfect game, only the 18th in Major League Baseball history.
My husband called yesterday from U.S. Cellular only moments after the win and was beside himself with the excitement of having witnessed Buehrle's feat. "It was spectacular!" he reported. As each pitch inched closer to the final out, the crowd's anticipation and tension grew until it erupted in amazement at Dewayne Wise's over-the-wall, bobble-handed grab. Then, just a few moments later, the sheer disbelief that Buehrle had actually done it.

*So* glad he was there to see it — how historic!! And how about that guy in the stands, just above Wise, who looked like he was just about to pull a “Bartman” (didn’t notice it until we saw the photo stills the next day). Fate (Charlie Robertson?) must have intervened. Outstanding.
Yeah, very cool. And, his dad was with him which made it extra special. Oh! And I saw that almost Bartman grab, too. Here is the link to the Trib’s photo of it. Fortunately, that guy seemed to be a bit more aware than Bartman.
