Ultra Naté, Debbie Gibson Hit Halsted for Chicago Pride Fest

Monday June 22, 2009
Ultra NateYou ought to have a fest if you're going to have a parade, no? Pride Fest ramps up this weekend with club singer Ultra Naté (right) headlining on Saturday night. She's probably best known for her song "Free," but in an interview with About.com's Guide to Dance Music, DJ Ron Slomowicz, she said she was influenced while growing up by "anyone soulful" -- from Marvin Gaye to Boy George. You're sure to hear at least the Boy George influence in her music. Also, earlier on Saturday, get your nostalgia fix by seeing 80s pop-star and long-time songstress Debbie Gibson who will be performing on the north stage. Check the full line-up below.
