Illinois Shakespeare Festival Named to Top 10 by National Geographic

Illinois Shakespeare FestivalRoad Trip?

National Geographic's "The Ten Best of Everything: Families" named the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, located in Bloomington, Illinois, as one of the ten best theater festivals in the nation. The 32-year-old open air festival is a professional theater operated in cooperation with Illinois State University.

This season opens on June 25 with A Midsummer's Night Dream followed by Richard III on July 15. Learn more about tickets and directions at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival.
