It's gut check time. The Olympic Committee members will be in town from April 2 to April 8 to see if we've got what it takes to host the summer Olympics in 2016.
While the bid team is understandably jacked about the prospect of hosting the Olympics, what do you think?
Will it make Chicago a big blinking push-pin on the global map for the rest of the century? Is it a financial debacle waiting to implode? Somewhere in between?
I'm out of town this week, so I'm sorry I don't get to experience the IOC presence in our city. My vote is still a fence sit, but leaning positive.
