Road to Inauguration
I started my photo timeline of Michelle Obama with this shot from the day Barack Obama announced he was going to run for President. I adore it for a lot of reasons, including the look on his face. It's kind of like love and intensity at the same time. He was supposed to be focused on his big announcement, but that doesn't seem to be what he's thinking about here. . .

Finally, a family in the White House that seems, well, normal! Nice kids, inteligent mother and presidential father - OK not “normal” but… If I could pick my neighbors, I would have to pick the Obamas. He’s great! She’s great! And it’s nice to see some kids in the White House again.
