Road to Inauguration Day, Tuesday, January 20, 2009

On a frigid day in February 2007, U.S. Senator Barack Obama announced his desire to run for President of the United States in our state's capitol. It's amazing to think about where the hope and ambition he displayed that day took him -- and our state -- over the next 21 months. That's why I'll be looking back at this story in January before we look forward to the inauguration.
"That is why this campaign can't only be about me. It must be about us - it must be about what we can do together. This campaign must be the occasion, the vehicle, of your hopes, and your dreams."

--Barack Obama in his Speech on the Day He Announced His Run for President of the United States.
