Poll: Should Roland Burris be our Next U.S. Senator?

The Tribune and Capitol Fax report that Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is scheduled to name Roland Burris to the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by Barack Obama. Blagojevich, as you'll recall, was arrested earlier this month on corruption charges related to his alleged illegal dealings, including trying to sell the Senate seat.

Heck yes he should be appointed. He sounds more
qualified and sensible than most of the jokers up there. As for being black, he can’t be any worse than the “whites” we have up there. By the way -I’m white.
