Chicago Jewish Community Set to Mourn Mumbai Terror Victims Tomorrow

Tuesday December 2, 2008
The HoltzbergsA memorial service to mourn all the victims of the terrorist attacks in Mumbai will take place tomorrow evening, Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at the Skokie Holiday Inn North Shore.

The service will also honor the lives of Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg (photo inset) who were slain in the attacks. You may recall that their young son, who survived, turned two the following day. Also remembered tomorrow night will be the Holtzberg's Chabad house guests who perished in the siege: Rav Aryeh Leibish Teitelbaum, Rabbi Bentzion Chroman, Yocheved Orpaz, and Norma Schwartzblat-Rabinovitch.

Details follow below. For more information, visit Chabad Lubavitch of Illinois.

Finally, according to the Chabad-Lubavitch site, "The Chabad-Lubavitch leadership in New York urged people around the world to do good deeds in memory of the Holtzbergs and all those who perished in the attacks."
