54th Annual Poetry Day is Tuesday

Loiuse Glück will read her work at the Harold Washington Library on Tuesday, October 21 at 6 p.m. It's a FREE event. Her reading will celebrate National Poetry Day. You can find some of Ms. Glück's poems here. I must admit I find them dark and brooding, precise and private. Wonder if hearing them read live would change my understanding?
