I can't wait to get to Wired's NextFest 2008. I challenge you to read through the list of exhibits and not have your interest piqued, too. Adam Fendelman, About.com's Guide to Cell Phones (and a Chicagoan), especially likes a digital cell phone art installation that's coming to the show called "Cell Phone Disco." I don't think you can go wrong here. NextFest is FREE and open to the public.

- Tuesday to Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday from noon to 8 p.m.
- Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Location: in Millennium Park, just south of the Bean, on the "promenade"
- Closing Day - Sunday, October 12
