Chicago Public Library Offers System-Wide Book Reservations

Hey, good news. Now that everyone is looking for ways to save money, the Trib reported today that patrons of the Chicago Public Library can now reserve books and materials online and put them on hold at their favorite branch for pick up. Although the service has been available at many branches since March, it is now available system-wide.

And, get this, the City paid for the upgraded computer system with money it received from leasing the Chicago Skyway. Great choice by city managers.
