Chicago Chef Wins James Beard Award

Chicago's Grant Achatz of the widely-acclaimed Alinea (pictured at right) won the James Beard Award last night in New York City. He has much to celebrate. The Tribune also reports that Achatz's cancer, which he has been battling since 2007, is in remission.
