No One Wanted to Eat it Anyway

The City Council repealed the ban on foie gras yesterday and tabled the ordinance that had the potential to put the kabash on the local music scene.

Now that these incredibly pressing city issues are off their docket, do you think they could work on getting the buses to run on time?

I am (fairly) pleased to announce that our part of town is FINALLY getting a blue cart recycling program (http://egov.cityofchicago.org/webportal/COCWebPortal/COC_EDITORIAL/New_Service_Area_Map.pdf). I can’t tell you how glad I will be to not have to drive my recycling to my mother’s house (in an unnamed Chicagoland suburb).
