No Bus Stop (Yet)

Saturday November 3, 2007
The CTA and mass transit "Doomsday" has been averted. Normal fares and services will be in effect on Sunday.

Governor Blagojevich rescued the system by securing $27 million in federal money as a stop-gap measure. The cash injection is expected to tie the mass transit system over until early January. The budget problems will need to be resolved before then in order to avoid another crisis.

Now, you just have to worry about turning your clock back an hour tomorrow.

Free $40 Heat Vouchers good for Home Depot

The Aldermen’s Offices all have been given $40 HOME DEPOT vouchers by the Dept
of environment to be spent on heating your home products. Please spread the
word. good for insulation – space heaters, thick insulation tape, window
covers……….. I suggest getting the weatherstrip tape. It is thick but
easy to remove and provides a good seal when you do not have double glazed
windows.

have a nice day.

Thanks
